Mystical world of Ayahuasca and Curiosity of Irish

Ireland have had a long cultural history of engaging with land and nature spirits. The culture is woven with stories of these sublime worlds.

And it is no wonder that the mystical world of Ayahuasca is rekindling this adventure. This close bonding with spirit is a very strong call for the people of Ireland. Irish also have a great strength of curiosity and if we could say, a push to explore. On a whole we love their curiosity, it appears to be quite distinctive to other nationalities that come to Shamballa Ayahuasca Retreats.

Traditional form of healing with Ayahuasca involves the digestion of the plant based medicine commonly called ayahuasca, the “vine of the soul”.

It is composed of two plant based ingredients, the “Vine” which contains an MAOI (Monoamine oxidase inhibitor ) which allows to orally ingest DMT. The other ingredient is a small bush called chacruna (Psychotria viridis) and contains the DMT content of ayahuasca.

Ayahuasca Healing

Ayahuasca has within it many potent effects that allow for transformation and healing to occur. It is said to be like a book (the vine) and the light (DMT) that allow us to see contents of our personal story: personal, ancestral, spiritual etc..

For members of our Ayahuasca retreats for Ireland the primary focus is on the residues of accumulated pain, whether it be from social conditioning, ancestral or parental shadows or social addictions to alcohol, drugs, sex etc. It is often the case that ancestral pain is something that we do not notice and take for granted. We fail to notice the effects of this field that we swim through daily however it impacts our lives greatly.
